KQG2/KFG2: New Stainless Steel 316 One-touch Fitting/Insert Fitting
SMC has updated the KQG and KFG series of Stainless Steel fittings. Both products are still constructed of Stainless Steel 316 and use FKM sealing material (KQG2) and can operate at extremely high temperatures. The number of body variations has been increased from 9 to a total of 17 in the case of the KQG2 and from 5 to 9 variations for the KFG2.Tubing sizes of ф3.2 and ф16 have been added. Both series are certified to meet current food sanitation law standards*.

TRTU: Flame Resistant Polyurethane Tubing
The new three layer flame resistant polyurethane tubing represents a step forward for SMC. Our new design means that spatter resistance life has doubled when compared with our TRBU range. The construction of the TRTU series sees an outer layer of flame resistant Polyolefin Resin covering, a middle layer of Aluminium Laminate which in turn surrounds a Polyurethane inner sleeve. Available in six different colour variations and four tubing sizes.

- Applicable with KQB2 and KR-W2 fitting
- Available in 6, 8, 10 & 12 mm
ZB: Compact Vacuum Unit - Ejector/Vacuum Pump System
The ZB series vacuum system offers high performance and compact design. Available in both vacuum pump and vacuum ejector systems its design allows the ZB to be placed close to your application meaning reduced tubing sections that also allows for even a further reduction in cycle times. With a selection of 4 nozzle sizes, the ZB offers a maximum suction flow rate of 7.2 l/min and air consumption of 16 l/min. Its Energy Saving attributes allow a maximum vacuum pressure of -90kPa to be delivered at a line pressure range of 3.5 - 4 Bar. Another unique feature is the option of a latching supply valve. This means that power does not need to be continuously fed to the valve and in the case of a power failure vacuum pressure will not fail. A further option is the integration of the new compact ZSE10 digital pressure switch with copying function. Maximum of 12 stations with manifold specification.
- High Speed Absorption – Absorption time better than competitors, improved by 25% over ZA series with vacuum release port open to atmosphere.
