CNA2: Air Cylinder with Integrated Locking Unit

SMC's CA2 series cylinder is now available with a locking unit allowing for intermediate and emergency stops as well as drop prevention. The high efficiency lock allows for operation at lower pressures compared to other models. It’s unique design also minimizes the influence of air quality while it’s compact design reduces the level of overhang. Locking operation is allowed in both directions while piston operating speed range is 50-1000mm/s. Applicable with our magnetic field resistant solid state type autoswitch.

EX120: Serial Interface Componet Node

We have expanded our EX120 range of serial interface units to now include the Componet protocol. Componet is a sensor actuator level network designed to allow for high speed response over a large number of nodes. As it also employs the same standard protocol as Devicenet and Ethernet not only I/O communication is possible but message communication is possible. With the use of a repeater Componet allows for up to 384 nodes with High speed data transmission of approximately 1024 points in 1ms! The EX120 Componet node is applicable with transmission speeds of up to 4 Mbps with 16 outputs per node.
Applicable to our VQ, SY and SV valve series.

E210/310/410: Module Adaptor

SMC’s new module adaptor allows for the free rotation of assembly components and can be easily connected or disconnected to existing products without the need for fittings or tubing. The adaptor also allows for the connecting of two parts of different body size. Port sizes range from 1/8” to 1/2”.Our applicable valve ranges are the newly updated VP series and both the VC and VX ranges.

CQ2_Z: Compact Cylinder

With the remodelling of the CQ2 series it is now possible to mount our small range of autoswitches onto numerous cylinder surfaces. With the use of our small D-M9 range the switch body does not protrude from the cylinder body. This updated design also means that the number of parts required to mount the D-M9 has been reduced. Two switches can be mounted onto the same face allowing for the lead wires to come off in the same direction. Actuator weight has also been reduced. Mounting dimensions are interchangeable between the old and new body types. Applicable with our magnetic field resistant solid state type autoswitch.
