SGH: High Pressure Coolant Valve

SMC’s new SGH series valve is suitable for high pressure applications, 30-70 bar, such as lubrication, dust blowing and cooling. The SGH valve offers energy saving values due to its new  lower power consumption of 0.35W reduced from 4.8W. Port sizes range from 3/8” to 1”, available with the choice of NBR or FKM seals and is CE, UL and CSA approved.

LES: Electric Slide Table

The new LES Electric slide table offers a compact and space saving design, can be mounted from two positions and has a positioning repeatability of +/- 0.05mm. Due to its integrated design both the motor and screw are contained within the actuators body, giving  a contamination resistance of IP54.
Loads as high as 9kg can be achieved and  tact time can be reduced with a maximum acceleration of 5000mm/s2 and a maximum velocity of 400mm/s. When used with the LEC controller a maximum of 64 position patterns can be easily and quickly attained.

LEHS: Electric Gripper Three Finger Type

SMC has further extended its range of electric grippers with the introduction of the LEHS three finger gripper. Its design allows for the transportation of both spherical and irregular shaped (easily deformed) products. When used in conjunction with the new LEC controller, the LEHS offers functions such as drop prevention so that gripping force can be maintained during a restart or e-Stop. Grip verification allows for the detection of work pieces of different dimensions and the detection of work piece release.

CVQ: Compact Cylinder with Solenoid Valve

The new CVQ series offers great space saving due to the combining of the valve and cylinder into one product. Reduced running costs and energy saving are achieved as there is no requirement for piping between the cylinder, thus air consumption is reduced by 37% per cycle. Labour time is decreased as the number of piping connections are reduced from seven to three. With the integration of both valve and cylinder a  higher response speed is achieved.
